The staff was very helpful in guiding me for exploring the city. The breakfast was good. Rooms, beds, common areas were clean. I stayed here because it is close to the train station but it is also very close to old town. I'm glad I stayed there!
It locates super near the the prague train station which is convenient to us. The staff is nice and helpful. We were unable to connect the wifi as we lived on the 4th floor, the staff helped to restart the wifi router once we got to ask in the reception for help. Room and bathroom are spacious. However the church nearby keeps ringing the bell in the midnight.
Nice clean hostel, lifts to rooms which was useful with baggage! Very close to old town square and other sites all within easy walking distance. Owner was friendly and helpful advising us of places to go and holding our luggage the next day. Overall nice place to stay, would stay again if in Prague!
This hostel is part of an old building where residents also live, which was fine by us, we ended up with an entire apartment to ourselves which was great! Security is pretty tight, but that was also cool. We didn't go into the common room at all so didn't really get any sense of atmosphere but I would definitely recommend it for a great location to the train station and Old Town Centre.
Hostel Rosmary is a delightful hostel buried in the centre of Prague. We stayed in a four bed dorm which was simple, yet felt cosy and comfortable. The facilities were excellent and we took advantage of the washing service and the kitchen. The cleanliness of the hostel was fantastic and the quality of the rooms and facilities felt more like a hotel than a hostel. The road outside was fairly noisy, but this shouldn't reflect poorly on what is an outstanding hostel, expectional value for money.
A good one night stay in 5 bed room. Basic but very clean, especially the bathrooms. Self-checkout in the morning made my life easier and the location was perfect for catching an early morning train from Hlavni Nadrazi but also to explore the center of Prague. The living room can get a bit loud at night and the room was connected directly to it so that was the only thing that could be improved. Good quality for the price.
It's super close to the train station, so you can literally just walk with all your huge bags. It's an old building (duh, we're in Europe) and its got a lift to take you to your room so don't worry about climbing a billion stairs. All of the beds are singles so no having to worry about waking up the person in your bunk when you slightly rearrange yourself. But the staff is by far the best part!
I left my boots there (whoops) and not only did they find them for me, but they even mailed them to my house and worked with me for easy payments and all that fun stuff. They're great humans! Save yourself a lot of trouble and just stay at this wonderful place.
Last summer we stayed in this hostel with 4 girls. Since the hostel was very cheap we didn't expect much of it. When we arrived it was much more than we expected. The rooms were very clean. Clean sheets and towels were available. We had to share a kitchen, bathroom and a toilet with about 12 people (spread over 3 rooms), however because everyone was out in the city most of the time this wasn't a big problem. There was a cleaning lady who made sure everything stayed as clean as it was. The kitchen was a nice way to meet other travellers. The hostel is very near the city centre, it's just a few minutes walk. The trainstation is also on walking distance (only 2 streets away). The person behind the reception is willing to help with every question you have.
Liked: Calm, clean and lovely place. Perfect for recover from city walks and long party night. Kitchen and bathroom is neat.
Disliked: Not that much hostel flair since the room looks more like former privat apartments.
Stayed here for 2 nights as a lone female traveller and felt really safe and homey. The hostel is small but has a great communal area to get to meet other travellers, each apartment has a well fitted kitchen with a fridge which was really handy and the bathroom was kept to a high standard also. The location is great, 10 minute walk to the old town and literally down the road from the train station. The receptionist was really lovely and informative, however I just want to point out that there is no 24 hour reception so I'm not sure what you'd have to do if you arrived late at night but I didn't have this problem.
Would definitely stay here again!
